Air Pruning What Does It Mean?
It is a process by which the tree or plant is planted in a perforated pot and raised from the ground, in way when its roots reach any opening of the pot they get suffocated and thereby produce lateral roots inside the soil. In this way and depending on the shape of the pot the tree will develop a fibrous root of which all its branches are oriented from a central trunk and outwards with much more root tips and with no root circled around the trunk. The superoots we are using at Native Nurseries have a superior shape that is able to produce the best root shape that will give the tree a very strong head-start as soon as the tree is planted in the soil. This is why our trees have a superior ability to survive when planted in the field.

هي عملية يتم من خلالها زرع الشجرة أو النبتة في أحواض ذات ثقوب توضع مرفوعة عن الأرض، بحيث عندما تصل جذور النبتة إلى أي فتحة في الحوض تنشف رؤوس الجذور وبالتالي تنتج جذور جانبية داخل التربة. بهذه الطريقة، واعتمادًا على شكل الحوض ستطور الشجرة جذرًا متشعباَ حيث تتجه جميع فروعه من الجذع المركزي إلى الخارج مع أطراف جذرية أكثر بكثير مما لو تم استعمال احواض عادية وبدون وجود جذر دائري حول الجذع. تتمتع الجذور المميزة التي نستخدمها في Native Nurseries قادرة على إنتاج أفضل شكل جذر يمنح الشجرة انطلاقة قوية جدًا بمجرد غرس الشجرة في التربة. ولهذا السبب تتمتع أشجارنا بقدرة فائقة على البقاء عند زراعتها في الحقل.
