تتواجد الشجرة في محمية الشوف كأشجار منفردة متفرقة في الباروك والمعاصر وكفريا، وهي متساقطة الأوراق. وينتج بلوطًا كبيرًا وأوراقه أغمق بكثير من أوراق الأنواع الأخرى. تميل أشجار بلوط برانت إلى امتلاك جذوع متعددة

The tree is found in the Shouf Reserve as scattered individual trees in Barouk, Maaser and Kefraya, it is deciduous. It produces large acorns and its leaves are much darker than those of other species. Brant’s Oak trees tend to have multiple trunks
