هذه الشجرة سريعة النمو لها عمر قصير (أقل من 25 سنة). تفضل الشمس الكاملة ولكنها تتحمل الجفاف بشدة. الشجرة لها شكل عمودي مع ورقة دالية. الزهور صغيرة وليست مهمة. تنمو الزهور الأنثوية والذكرية على شجرة منفصلة. تجنب زراعة الشجرة الأنثوية لأنها تنتج كمية كبيرة من البذور المغطاة بشعر يشبه القطن وستتسبب في إزعاج من القطن المتطاير.

This fast growing tree has a short life ( less than 25 years). Prefers full sun but very drought tolerant. The tree has a columnar shape with a deltoid leaf. The flowers are small and not important. The  female and male flowers grows on a  separate tree. Avoid planting female tree as its produces large amount of seeds all covered with a cotton like hair and will make litter all around.
