البطم الفلسطيني عبارة عن شجرة صغيرة ذات مظلة تميل إلى أن تكون واسعة حيث يصل ارتفاعها إلى 4-15 مترًا وعرضها من 4 إلى 10 أمتار، وعادة ما تستخدم كأصل لتطعيم الفستق الحلبي.  تأكد من وجود أصناف أنثوية وذكورية متوافقة. المطعمة على أشجار مختلفة.

اعتاد السكان المحليون على استخدام قشر الفاكهة كنكهة طعام مستخرجة بطريقة مشابهة للسماق.

The Palestinian Pistachio is a small tree with a canopy that tends to be as wide as it is 4-15 meters high, and 4-10 meters wide, it is usually used as rootstock to graft edible pistachio on. Make sure you have female and compatible male varieties. Grafted on different trees.  

Locals used to use the fruit’s skin as a food flavor extracted in a similar way as Sumac.
