تتميز الشجرة بثمارها وأزهارها الصحية. تستعمل ثمارها (الحمراء أو الصفراء) كمحسن لأمراض القلب. وتستخدم ثمارها في الشاي. وهي شجرة شوكية يمكن استخدامها كسياج يحيط بالأراضي.

The tree is prominent for its healthy fruits and flowers. Its fruits (red or yellow) are consumed as an enhancer for cardiac diseases. Its fruits are used in teas. It is a thorny tree that could be used as a fence surrounding lands.
