يحظى القبّار بشعبية كبيرة باعتباره يستعمل مخللًا، حيث يتم جمع براعم الزهور قبل أن تتفتح، ثم تنقع في الماء لعدة أيام لإزالة الطعم المر، ثم يتم نقعها في الخل والملح.

في الحديقة يمكن استخدامه ضمن مجموعة زهور، وله زهرة جميلة جدًا في حد ذاتها.

Caper is popular as a pickled food, flower buds are collected before they open, soaked in water for several days to remove the bitter taste, than pickled in vinegar and salt.

In the landscape it is used in flower mixes, has a very nice flower in itself.
